A Note from the Author

When I was little, I was often the one who stopped to look more closely.

While other hurried past, I found myself kneeling beside tiny flowers growing through cracks in the sidewalk, watching ants carry impossible things, tracing spider webs after the rain, and wondering what life looked like from the perspective of something small.

As I grew older, I realized those moments weren't distractions.
They were invitations.
